Announcements from CAT

Dear CAT Supporters,

Two committees of the CAT Board of Directors have meetings scheduled here at the PEG Center. These are open meetings and we encourage anyone who is interested in what’s happening at your community television station to attend and provide input.

The Outreach Committee has meetings scheduled for Tuesday, August 11th and 25th to plan our Fall Fundraiser and CAT’s 30th Anniversary Celebration coming up next year. These meetings are schedule for 10am.

I'm a learnin!

Just thought I would give everyone a heads up that I have just finished going through Adobe After Effects Classroom in a Book! So now I am getting ready to learn Photoshop! I know what you are thinking, "How can you not already know how to use that wonderful program?" Well, I don't know! But I am learning it now! And hopefully, I will be able to pass down all this new found knowledge to all of you!

FCC COMMISSIONERS CONFIRMED

The Senate confirmed Mignon Clyburn and Meredith Baker as FCC Commissioners. We now have a full FCC to act on our petition. Thank you to those of you who have sent letters to Congress asking them to pressure the FCC into action. If you haven't contacted your Congressional representative, do it now!

Up and Running!

I just want to inform everyone that our live feed is up and running! We were having some router issues but they have been resolved! So tell all your friends "Hey! We can watch CAT online now!!!"

Old Shows and New Goodbyes

Greetings from CAT! It’s another Thursday morning here. Mark was sweet enough to have some coffee made, which is the lifesblood for at least half of the staff here. Richard S. Drake and C.F. Roberts, two of the station’s biggest producers and supporters, are setting up to shoot a new episode of “On the Air” featuring local activist Laurie Masterson.
